CMTM is thrilled to team up with the unbelievably skilled René Siren for the upcoming manufacturing of “Lovely Blackbird” in CMTM’s Maddy’s Theatre, debuting on September 28. On Sunday, the Children’s Museum and Cinema of Maine hosted local authors to share their publications for the unique week. Long ago, Blackbird was elected the most stunning bird in the woodland. The various other birds– red, yellow, blue, eco-friendly– appreciated Blackbird, and begged Blackbird to paint their plumes with a touch of black so they can be attractive also.
